At around 8.00 – 8.30 am: Be picked up at your stayed hotel in Hanoi, and then depart for Duong Lam. Located around 60km from Hanoi, Duong Lam is recognized as a national relic by its long ancient history in around 1,200 years and literate brick houses dating back up to 400 years. Duong Lam ancient village is also well-known as “the hometown of two kings”
Duong Lam village is a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River Delta. Upon your arrival, you will take a walk on the village path to visit Mong Phu Temple where is dedicated to the god Tan Vien Son as well as the place for cultural activities. Continue to visit the king Phung Hung temple and king Ngo Quyen temple.
A special Vietnamese lunch will be waiting for your taste in an ancient house.
While you are in the house you can also join the local people in producing local specialties, such as soft green-lentil cake and rice cake filled with brown onion (depending on the season)
You will continue to visit Mia Pagoda (built in 15th century) and admire 287 statues of all sizes before transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi
