Hang En Cave is proudly the world’s third largest cave and it is rapidly becoming one of the must-see natural wonders in Vietnam.
Its size will amaze you, and our campsite located within the cave, right next to a dreamy river, will leave you speechless. You’ll examine fascinating fossils in one part of the cave over 300 million year old, and around every corner be subject to the most picturesque views.
This is a 3 day trekking tour – We visit Ban Doong village and the swallow cave (Hang En) deep in the heart of the National Park
– We have the chance to go fishing with the locals in the stream near the mouth of the cave and spend one night homestay.
– One night is spent in hammocks/tents in the cave
-Limestone mountains is a highlight for many, not to mention the pristine jungle, many river crossings, and jovial porter team, made up of local jungle men!
At 08:00am, Jeeps will pick up at Dong Hoi Railway Station. Breakfast in Phong Nha then you will drive to KM35, Ho Chi Minh highway and start trekking. Around mid-noon, reach Ban Doong. Enjoy picnic lunch. After that, depart to Hang En. Explore the first part of Hang En, prepare dinner and camp for overnight.
After breakfast at 8:00, you will visit around Hang En, cold water cave, have lunch at Hang En. Then depart to back to Ban Doong, visit Ban Doong, chill out with minority people. At 18:30pm have dinner and stay overnight in one of minority house.
Have breakfast at 8:00 then trek up to Ho Chi Minh Road. At 12:00pm the car will pick you up and transfer to Phong Nha. Have lunch at local restaurant before your next journey with us.
